Swiftlet Farming

Swiftlet Farming - Contributing passive income into my portfolio next 36 month.

I always believe financial education started at home. I’m rising up under poor but happy family with my dad work as fulltime taxi driver and my mum as farmer planting fruits, cocoa, black pepper, vegetables and etc. Life isn’t easy as what a lot of people thought. I’m one of the “NON-PAID” employees for my parents together with my 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  That why we understand money is hard to be EARN, thus we appreciate every dollars we save. Far before we really understand what land is, my dad already taught us the important of accumulating land. He always says “Land is Scarcity Resources & Nothing Is As SOLID As GROUND”. My dad started accumulating vacant land when is he around 28 years old back in early 1970’s and since then it’s becoming his hobby collecting titles.

My own property investment started in year 2004 when my dad asks me to buy vacant land near to our house in Sarikei. That was the first killing when I bought it 80% below market value!! Since then I also follow my dad hobby collecting titles until now. Besides collecting vacant land to keep, I also bought some residential properties to expand my rental portfolio.  As at today my rental income accounted 40% of my monthly income. Although major of this rental income is to offset my loan repayment but one day this rental will flow into my account once the loan is fully settled.

While continue to accumulating my wealth, I purposely set up this blog to share what I see, what I know, what mistake to avoid, what to buy and the important of financial education especially to my close friends, relatives and clients. This is the time we must make our mission clear as time will go against us once the opportunity past. With that, I wish all of us here to learn from each other and contribute back to the community.

Happy Investing
