I fully agreed..but RM20M maybe abit high..Say RM10M is good enough..it took normally people few generation to earn and save that amount. Happy Investing.

If you have 800K in 1999 and invested half of the money into land around penampag, menggatal, inanam or sulaman during that time…Now you should have at least 20M.

Hi ck,

I wonder is it good idea to invest in low cost housing around 100k for investment property to rent. Pay the loan in 15 years. My basic salary is below RM 2,500.00. Can i pay for the loan which the BLR is higher now.

Or invest in stock market is a better wise choice.

AL, how are you able to get an ASB account?
My mom is kadazan, dad sino, tried to apply for one but it takes ages. How did you get it? any lubang?
My brother had his ASB terminated just becos of the chinese surname.

You have an interesting blog, enjoy reading it. I am in my mid-20s and a chinese who has a ASB account, in a dilemma now. Like what you always say, good property deal do not wait for people, but the returns in ASB is good as well. Should I continue to invest all my savings in ASB or should I diversify my investment? Have some thought of starting to invest in property..

Dear Ck,

I am not trying to drag your blog into pollitics don,t miis my point. In just merely stating the facts. I didn’t ask why we bumi were given so much special rights ! Did I??? I am just echoing on what RJ has shared about what BUMI is getting.

That’s why I left my answer or opinion open ended for others to think about it (e.g I just wonder If the NEP has serve it’s purpose at the end ‘ and ‘the rest is i leave it to your imagination’ ) I didn’t even say who is and who is not doing better !

While we are focusing on building our wealth we can not run away from being affected by the policies changed by politicians for common good. Who did away the PRGT if not for the politician who debated it in parliment ? Who reduced the satmp duty ? etc.
